Bolin partners with NDI to integrate advanced connectivity across product line
Bolin, a brand of PTZ cameras, and NDI, a global video-over-IP connectivity standard, have announced a new partnership of NDI integration across the Bolin product line. Under the agreement, Bolin will licence the latest, most advanced NDI technologies in its PTZ cameras, PTZ controller (KBD-1020N) and decoder (EG40N). This collaboration allows the company to offer its customers the most advanced and up-to-date features, tools and benefits of NDI, including the new release of NDI 6.

NDI, commonly known as Network Device Interface, is a widely adopted video connectivity standard based on proprietary IP networking specifications. NDI 6 provides native HDR support and expands WAN connectivity for hardware, addressing critical industry requirements and pushing the boundaries of visual quality and remote workflows. Designed for broadcasters and content creators, NDI 6 will embed WAN connectivity into Bolin’s product line, promising a transformative impact on the flexibility of remote productions and setups. This will offer a seamless experience for anyone sending and receiving video, regardless of the device, platform, or location. NDI-enabled cameras with the Bridge utility can also even join remote networks without depending on additional software or tools.

Bolin has incorporated the NDI Advanced features of NDI High Bandwidth and NDI HX3 into a range of products, including its NDI HX3 PTZ cameras (N2-210X, N2-220X, N6-420X, N7-220X, R9-230NX, EXU-230NX); NDI High Bandwidth PTZ cameras (R9-418N, R9-420N, EXU-248N, EXU-420N); the EG40N decoder (NDI 6 and NDI HX3); and the KBD-1020N NDI PTZ controller.
Bolin’s adoption of NDI Advanced means video creatives and sports, concert and worship event broadcasters and producers can combine the high-quality video and operational experience of its PTZ cameras and the reliability of its keyboard controller and decoder with the power, flexibility and ease of use of NDI.
