BVE 2015: UK debut for Ross Video top-end Acuity switcher

This year’s BVE exhibition at ExCel, London, 24-26 February will see Ross Video exhibiting the flagship Acuity vision mixer for the first time in the UK. The Acuity was last seen in late 2014 producing live 4k content during the ATP Tour Finals tennis event at London’s 02 arena, and BVE will offer broadcasters a prime opportunity to get hands-on with the Acuity and learn about its capabilities.

Ross will also be demonstrating its augmented reality solution with technology partner Ncam. Ross Video’s XPression graphics platform can already produce creative content when married with Ross Robotics in a virtual or physical studio environment. Add Ncam’s innovative camera tracking system into the equation and you get creative possibilities and graphic elements that stay firmly anchored in shot regardless of camera moves.

Finally, Ross will be highlighting the important role of DashBoard this year. DashBoard started life as a control interface for Ross openGear terminal equipment but has since grown beyond recognition to become a configurable user interface that can sit at the heart of any workflow. DashBoard provides control and monitoring to hundreds of products from over 50 partners within the openGear and DashBoard Connect ecosystem and, of course, most Ross Video products.
