DuFosse joins Media 180 to head North American ops
Media180, provider of continuous learning and consulting for TV and media organisations, has announced the appointment of Eric DuFosse, a 30-year veteran in the broadcast industry, as co-founder and executive consultant to support the development of consulting services, planning, and education of in-house media professionals across North America.
DuFosse has held numerous leadership roles in management, marketing, and strategy development for global organisations, such as Grass Valley, Sony, Philips, Thomson, and Tektronix. He spent almost 10 years in TV operations and education before joining technology and service.
“Eric has an impressive background with a vast knowledge of the industry and has developed numerous skills that will help our organization grow and serve our customers that are facing many challenges in this digital age,” said Pascal Souclier, CEO of Media180 and IIFA companies. “We are pleased to have him join us. He is well connected and is technically savvy and I am confident that he can help build our presence in North America.
“Media180 is a very attractive company and I look forward to the challenge set before me,” said DuFosse. “Expanding this unique concept into North America is very exciting and I look forward to do what I can to help our customers meet their challenges and goals and to deliver the solutions their businesses demand.”
For over 15 years, Media180 and IIFA have been helping broadcast and media companies all over Europe, and more recently in North America, to perform a successful transformation of their existing workforce in transitioning to the new media era. The unique method helps organisations define strategy, develop a comprehensive plan, and train technical and creative staff on new IT technologies in a media production environment. They have also improved organisation performances by helping the broadcast and IT departments to converge.
