Eurosport serves Apple Watch app for Roland Garros 2015

Eurosport has unveiled its Apple Watch app. The app, which provides users with easy access to live scores, updates and player data from all of the action at Roland Garros, will be available throughout the French Open in Paris from 24 May to 7 June and will ensure tennis fans don’t miss a single point.

We are excited to launch this app for the Apple Watch, which supports our digital strategy, spearheaded by Eurosport.com, which hosts over 20 million unique users per month,” said Arnaud Maillard, VP Digital Media, Discovery Networks International & Eurosport.

“The French Open is one of Eurosport’s flagship events and this year it’s bigger and better than ever.  With over 400 hours of broadcast and up to 15 courts available live on the Eurosport Player, today’s release of the Apple Watch app further demonstrates our objective to be the premier tennis destination, across multiple platforms” continued Maillard.

The Apple Watch app is the ideal tool for Eurosport’s roster of leading on-air tennis experts to keep up-to-date with scores from matches across the grounds. Tennis icons new to Eurosport’s star-studded line up of experts for the French Open include John McEnroe and Chris Evert who join Mats Wilander, Conchita Martinez, Henri Leconte, Greg Rusedski, Marion Bartoli, Virginia Ruzici, Àlex Corretja, Thomas Enqvist and Adriano Panatta.
