NAB 2024: Farmerswife 7.1 and updates to Cirkus on show

Farmerswife is set to showcase the latest updates to Cirkus, its scheduling and project management platform, as well as presenting Farmerswife 7.1 at NAB 2024.

One of the highlights on the stand will be the introduction of a Public Requests feature in Cirkus. This addition is designed to elevate project management experiences for media professionals by simplifying the process of submitting project and booking requests, even for those without a Cirkus login.

Advantages of the Requests feature include simplifing the submission process for both internal and external clients, fostering smoother communication; the ability to receive detailed project specifications directly through the Requests feature, ensuring clarity and reducing misunderstandings; and access to centralised project-related information within Cirkus, promoting improved communication and efficiency.

“We are thrilled to unveil the new Requests feature to our esteemed customers and industry peers at the NAB Show,” remarked Stephen Elliott, CEO at farmerswife. “This update underscores our ongoing commitment to enhancing collaboration and workflow efficiency within the media industry.”

Farmerswife is also set to present farmerswife 7.1. This latest version boasts a range of enhancements, including advanced equipment tracking, scheduling improvements and budgeting functionalities. Not only does farmerswife 7.1 deliver improved speed performance, but it also expands Rest API capabilities and offers various tools to streamline inventory management and request processes.

“Continuing our legacy of success from previous years, where we welcomed esteemed clients like PBS Fort Wayne, Boutwell Studios, Louisiana Public Broadcasting and more, we remain committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions that streamline workflows and drive our customers towards success,” stated Jodi Clifford, managing director, USA at farmerswife. “With the introduction of farmerswife 7.1 and the latest updates to Cirkus, we are confident that media professionals will witness unparalleled efficiency and productivity in their operations.”
