Trio of M&E appointments for Perifery

Perifery, a division of DataCore, has made a number of new key executive leadership hires. Jason Perr has been appointed as CTO of M&E solutions, Deepika Bajaj as marketing director, demand generation, and Sarah Cook as product marketing director. According to Perifery, these three appointments will be crucial for the continued growth of the company.

As CTO of M&E, Perr will be responsible for overseeing all of the automated workflow and AI technology developed for use in the company’s solutions. This new chapter comes following Perifery’s strategic acquisition of Perr’s company, Workflow Intelligence Nexus (WIN), which he founded over 13 years ago. His experience over the years as an independent filmmaker, director and visual effects coordinator, gave him a unique view of the pain points from pre- to post-production. This makes him perfect to drive Perifery’s customers’ efficiency in reaching maximum revenue with AI and automation.

Bajaj specialises in conceptualising and leading the development and delivery of comprehensive marketing programmes, including demand generation, account-based marketing for qualified pipeline generation, and market engagement to maximise companies’ ROI.

She is dedicated to aligning people, processes and systems that drive pipeline growth and position companies for scalability and acquisition. Bajaj has transformed B2B businesses to achieve record revenues, including devising go-to-market plans and demand generation and account based marketing campaigns to achieve a qualified pipeline in enterprise segments at companies including Fictiv, Verizon, Panzura, John Wiley & Sons and others.

In the role of director of product marketing, Cook will lead launch and sustaining marketing for the M&E-focused portfolio of Perifery. With deep expertise in product messaging and positioning, Cook has over 14 years of hardware, software and services marketing experience, with over half of that in the enterprise storage space. Her career includes roles with industry leaders such as Cisco, Dell and MainConcept.

Commenting on these new appointments, Abhijit Dey, general manager of Perifery, said: “We’re at a fascinating time in the M&E industry, where the pace of change is faster than ever and the opportunities for innovation are vast, and we are at the front of it. I am confident that these new key appointments will help Perifery continue its mission of taking workflows beyond boundaries by accelerating and expanding our customers’ journey from core to edge and cloud.”
