Imagine Communications has appointed Konstantin Vanag to the position of regional sales manager for Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Based in Moscow, Vanag will be responsible for bolstering the company’s existing client relationships and establishing inroads to new business as the region deliberates a transition from hardware-defined infrastructure to software-based architecture.
Vanag has enjoyed a lengthy and successful career in sales and business development in the broadcast and telecommunications industries, most recently with AVerMedia, a manufacturer of video capture cards, encoders and multi-platform viewing solutions; where he was in charge of business development across Russia, CIS and the Baltics. He has also held business development and account management positions at Riedel Communications and Canon’s broadcast division.
