Job of the Week: Digital Manager, NBA

Every week and SVG Europe join forces to bring you details of a new, much sought-after employment opportunity in sports broadcast or related disciplines. This week’s (full-time) position is digital manager for the NBA, based in London.

The successful candidate will help grow the NBA’s digital operation in Europe, Africa and Middle while also managing the relationships with the NBA’s digital partners. As part of its responsibilities, the digital manager will contribute to the digital sales efforts for the region and will have specific sales targets.

The digital manager will also be involved in the marketing, packaging and distribution of the NBA’s direct to consumer products for EMEA. The successful candidate will work closely with other departments, both in London and New York, including marketing partnerships, merchandise, communications and marketing in order to define and implement a fully integrated digital strategy. Key responsibilities include: sourcing and negotiating content licensing deals, including official destination partnerships in key territories; bringing in new clients and exploring potential revenue streams; building strong relationships with existing partners and key digital stakeholders; and making recommendations on pricing and packaging of existing NBA direct to consumer initiatives.
