Sky Tickets is a new venture with the vision to ‘enable millions of people to enjoy live sport, music, art and entertainment events’. The company is working with the biggest sports, talent and brands in the market and has ambitious plans. This role is an opportunity to join the team in a senior leadership role to help deliver future growth.
As a member of Sky Tickets’ leadership team, the director of sales & marketing will lead the marketing strategy and plans to deliver the Sky Tickets objectives. This will involve playing a key role in developing and executing the Sky Tickets brand strategy as well as shaping the customer proposition and end-to-end online experience. They will lead the customer acquisition and retention approach, and leverage data and insight to optimise digital marketing campaigns. They will own, develop and implement a data and insight-led marketing approach and identify and pursue relevant affiliate and brand partnerships to accelerate the delivery of marketing objectives.
The ideal candidate is an ambitious leader and team player that has a strong executive presence and a track record of collaborating and working well in cross-functional teams. As a self-starter they will be able to work autonomously and self-motivate as well as being a compelling and effective communicator with strong interpersonal and business skills. They will be enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable as well as being digitally-savvy and passionate about sport, music, art, entertainment and live events.
Significant experience at leading the marketing function of a consumer-focused e-commerce business, brand or business unit is essential, as is experience of developing digital marketing campaigns using social, search, mobile, PPC and SEO. They will possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills and a passion for using data to make strategic decisions, deploy budgets and resource to deliver results in a cost-effective way.
