The successful applicant to this role will play a key role in producing written and multimedia content for the co-branded Eurosport-Yahoo website and the Eurosport mobile app. Based at Eurosport’s office in Feltham, Middlesex, the senior digital editor will work on a shift basis according to a rota from Monday to Sunday, in order to meet the needs of the business and the sporting calendar.

Specific responsibilities will include: writing features – especially on UK and European football; writing news features – enhancing with pictures, video and analysis; playing a role in editorial decision-making, developing feature ideas and recruiting freelance journalists for feature assignments; utilising a wide range of sources such as social media, news wires and other content producers; ensuring output reaches the largest possible audience through social media; managing the newsroom when required and liaising with Yahoo’s editorial team regarding live text updates on a variety of sports.
