IBC extends deadline for 2024 Accelerator Media Innovation Programme

The Realtime Interactive Streaming Accelerator project being discussed at IBC 2023

IBC has extended the deadline for submissions to its 2024 Accelerator Media Innovation Programme.

The Accelerator Programme serves as a collaborative platform for both buyers (Champions) and sellers (Participants) in the media and entertainment technology space. The programme focuses on fast-track, solution-oriented innovation projects that aim to address challenges within the industry.

The process for the 2024 programme begins with the Call for Challenges, where those in the industry are invited to submit their business and technology challenges. The new deadline for submissions is now Monday 15 January.

Submissions will then be evaluated by IBC, with twelve challenges to be selected for presentation at theĀ  Kickstart Day event which is scheduled for March 2024.

At the Kickstart event, eight challenges will be chosen to evolve into fully-fledged Accelerator projects. Participating teams will then commence work on their solutions and Proof of Concept (PoC), with the outcomes being showcased in the Accelerator Zone and featured on the Innovation stage at IBC2024.
