Photon Beard’s Nova 270 light fixture, a low heat, energy efficient location lighting fixture that has now entered full production will debut at stand 11.C44 at IBC. The company says the Nova 270 is the world’s first to incorporate a new light source that is far more efficient than either HMI or LED. Moreover, because it runs so cool, no fans are required.
Photon Beard will also demonstrate the ideal way to set up and light a virtual or green screen studio. The stand will feature Bristol Paints’ VFX Chromakey background material and matching flooring being lit with Photon Beard Highlight luminaires to create a cost-effective virtual studio. The green screen components are available in portable kit form or can be permanently installed within a studio.
Photon Beard is also featuring a selection of portable tungsten lighting that includes industry workhorses Redhead 3 and Double Blonde kits.
Finally, Pampalite, winner of the “Best Light in a Box” from the Society of Television Lighting Directors, will make an appearance. The portable, fluorescent Pampalite travels in a hardened case that can ready to use in a matter of minutes.
