Red Bee renews Gold sponsorship at SVG Europe citing support during COVID pandemic
Red Bee has once again renewed its Gold Sponsorship of SVG Europe, stating that during the COVID-19 pandemic the association has proven to be, “an important forum for considering the challenges and opportunities in keeping sports fans engaged, until we reach a new normal”.
Margaret Davies, chief marketing officer at Red Bee, said on SVG Europe: “We continue to appreciate the benefits of being part of SVG Europe, even more so as we deal with the challenges caused by Covid-19.
“It is a community that gives us the opportunity to gain insights and share knowledge and best practices about sports broadcasting and production. Given the impact of the pandemic on live sports, SVG Europe is an important forum for considering the challenges and opportunities in keeping sports fans engaged, until we reach a new normal,” Davies noted.
She went on: “We too as an organisation are committed to improving diversity and inclusion and are proud to support the great work done by the SVG Europe Women initiative, creating a platform for women to network, grow and increase their influence in sports and media.”
Margaret continued: “Through our managed services, Red Bee has delivered the most thrilling sports moments to global audiences for some of the world’s biggest television brands, including the BBC, Canal+ International, BT Sports and ITV. In addition, our over the top (OTT) offering is giving sports organisations and rights owners the opportunity to monetise their content and build communities for fans around the world. Until a regular flow of live sports is back, it is up to us to help our customers to adjust and satisfy their viewers in the best way possible. We’re looking forward to continuing to share our experience and lessons learned with the rest of the SVG Europe community and help drive best practices in the industry.”
