Remote Production Workshop: First speakers revealed for 13 April 2022 online event

Eurovision Sport, IMG and NEP will be among the companies represented at next month’s Remote Production Workshop, sponsored by LiveU.

The SVG Europe Remote Production Workshop will examine recent case studies and look closely at the practical considerations for remote production and how we build and improve on the current ways of remote working.

Speakers will include Malcolm Cowan, Head of Engineering & Technology at NEP UK, and Tom Giles, VP, Director of Engineering, IMG Studios, who will take part in a panel discussion about how to design more efficient remote galleries, workflows and production hubs.

On the same bill, Franck Choquard, Head of Content & Platforms at Eurovision Sport, will showcase the remote production set-up for coverage of the niche sport of ski mountaineering.

While Imagine Communications CTO Networking & Infrastructure John Mailhot, Stuart Brown, Domo Broadcast Systems, Broadcast Systems Integration Director, and David Mitchinson, Appear, Head of Strategic Initiatives, will take part in a Thought Leader Perspectives panel on the future of outside broadcasting.

More speakers will be announced in the coming days.
