Sport Production Summit 2023: Industry Analysis – Doing more with less

In this session at the SVG Europe Sport Production Summit 2023, Caretta Research’s Ed Barton and Rebecca Jackson reveal that the sports technology market is estimated to be worth 2.1 billion per year. Jackson said there is a large opportunity in the buyer market, particularly in the long tail of sports rights, and that different buyers require different technology strategies. She added that vendors are entering the industry in one category and expanding into others to remain competitive, and that customised products and solutions are necessary to stand out in a highly competitive market.
