SVG Europe’s FutureSport 2013 taking place on Tuesday

The Kia Oval, London, will be the venue this coming Tuesday (3 December) for a comprehensive sortie through the technological issues shaping the present and future of sports broadcasting – from 4K and next generation compression technologies, to big data and centralised remote production.

FutureSport is the latest in SVG Europe’s increasingly high-profile series of technology events, which also includes Football Production Summit and SportTech.

‘The Future of Sports TV’, ‘The Big Business of Big Data’, ‘IP, the Future of OB Design and Centralised Remote Production’, ‘Next Generation Compression’ and ‘4K Production Equipment Update’ will be among some of the thought-provoking sessions to take place during the packed one-day programme.

Panellists lined up to contribute their expert opinion, meanwhile, include Fabio Murra (Ericsson), John Nemeth (Elemental Technologies), Mark Grinyer (Sony), Paul Vickerage (Canon Europe), Dr. Julia Vogel Wenzin (Vizrt), Laurent Petit (EVS) and Peter Schut (Axon).
