SVGE/IMG Tour & Conference: Endersby, Morgan, Williams to debate ‘superfeeds’

The next instalment in SVG Europe’s busy annual programme of technology summits is a co-production with IMG Media taking place at the latter’s Stockley Park facility, north of London, on 10 October. The half-day event will include a detailed technical tour as well as a number of presentations and panel sessions.

One of the highlights of the day is set to be an exploration of superfeeds and the rapidly changing world of remote production. Demand for games involving the top four clubs in the Premier League is such that IMG now fields a separate truck dedicated to delivering a ‘superfeed’ to broadcasters worldwide. This and other developments in IMG’s remote production capabilities will be assessed in a session that will also follow-up on points made at several recent SVG Europe technology summits.

Joining moderator and SVG editorial diretor Ken Kerschbaumer will be: IMG Media head of broadcast services PLP Mike Endersby, Premier League broadcast operations manager Nick Morgan and ADI UK group CEO Geraint Williams.
