World Table Tennis expands its distribution partnership with Story10 from SNTV to increase global fanbase

World Table Tennis is planning on growing its fanbase through an expanded relationship with Story10

World Table Tennis (WTT) has renewed and expanded its partnership with global sports video production and distribution agency, Story10, to promote the sport in key territories and engage new audiences worldwide.

SNTV is a joint venture between The Associated Press and IMG. Launched by SNTV in 2021, Story10 is a global sports video production and distribution agency supported by SNTV’s global distribution network.

Starting with the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024, presented by BNK Busan Bank (16-25 February 2024), the partnership will see Story10 amplify game highlights from the 2024 Championships and WTT’s marquee Grand Smash, Finals and Champions events, across its network of 8,500 digital and social channels and 700 broadcast partners.

For the first time, the expanded partnership will see Story10 and WTT develop a pilot project to create authentic influencer collaborations that increase the sport’s exposure and engagement with new audiences across social platforms, leveraging Story10’s network of 7.5 million influencers worldwide.

James Dobbs, managing director at Story10’s parent company SNTV, said: “We’re thrilled to renew our partnership with World Table Tennis into a second year, continuing to drive awareness and helping to grow their global fanbase through our unique distribution network whilst providing all the action to our international audiences.”

Melissa Soobratty, WTT broadcast director, said: “Our collaboration with Story10 has significantly elevated global awareness of WTT, expanding our media reach and coverage. With 2024’s enhanced event calendar coupled with WTT’s innovative and dynamic presentation of the sport, we’re now focusing on making a more substantial impact in the digital realm, leveraging Story10’s extensive and thoughtfully curated network of influencers. This partnership will showcase WTT’s strength and potential to captivate audiences worldwide.”

WTT places players and fans at the core of its business with the main goal of catapulting table tennis to the forefront of the global sports business. Last year’s partnership enabled WTT to reach new fans across the globe, drive engagement and maximise exposure thanks to Story10’s global distribution network. WTT continues to transform the sport of table tennis, focusing on innovation, technology, and fan engagement.
