The SVG Europe Sport Production Achievement Awards will be presented on Saturday, 12 September from 1800 to 2130 inside the First Floor Restaurant at the RAI, location of the 2015 IBC. The annual event celebrates excellence in production as well as the successful deployment of new technologies that move the industry forward. Each year, during the IBC in Amsterdam, the industry comes together to honour accomplishments selected by a committee of top sports-production executives from across Europe.

This year, the following are being honoured:
Outstanding Production Achievement: Sky Deutschland and UEFA, for their 4K efforts related to the DFB Pokal and UEFA Champions League Final. This year’s 4K productions were delivered to viewers across Germany and raised the level of excitement for the still-developing UHD marketplace.
Outstanding Technical Achievement: The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and the French Tennis Federation for the expanded use of the HawkEye automated-production system. The use of the system allowed tennis coverage to originate from more courts than ever.
Outstanding Innovation: New this year, this award recognises a new product, broadcast, OTT, Website or service that has helped move the industry forward. The first to receive it is Sony Professional Solutions Europe for development and launch of the HDC-4300 camera.
