Anton/Bauer Intros Portable Power Solutions

Anton/Bauer (Booth C6025), part of Vitec Videocom, a Vitec Group company, is exhibiting new Gold Mount power solutions for some of the industry’s newest cameras and supplemental equipment: the Sony F5 and F55 CineAlta cameras, Blackmagic Design EF and MFT cinema cameras, and Litepanels Hilio LED fixtures, Sola ENG Flight Kit, and Sola 4 and Sola 6 LEDs.

Sony
As the next generation of the F3 camera, the Sony PMW-F5 and Sony PMW-F55 models offer a 4K image, enabling super-sampled pictures with noticeably higher contrast, rich color reproduction, and greater clarity. Anton/Bauer’s QRC-4K-S Gold Mount attaches instantly to Sony F5/F55 CineAlta cameras to accept Anton/Bauer batteries. It contains three PowerTap outputs for powering additional accessories to help professionals bring 4K productions to life. The QRC-4K-S is also compatible with the Sony AXS-R5 recorder.

Blackmagic Design
The QRC-BMD Gold Mount powers the Blackmagic Design EF and MFT cinema cameras. Because the cameras are equipped with internal batteries that last up to 90 minutes, Anton/Bauer developed the QRC-BMD Gold Mount to provide virtually uninterrupted power by allowing a truly hot-swappable power solution using the internal camera battery. When paired with a battery like Anton/Bauer’s DIONIC HC, the QRC-BMD can provide the camera with 91 Wh of power for four hours, simplifying on-set battery management. The QRC-BMD offers two PowerTap outputs to easily power additional accessories, such as monitors and recorders, and has also been designed to be used with Anton/Bauer’s MATRIX Cheese Plate.

Litepanels
The QRC-HILIO Gold Mount powers Litepanels’ Hilio LED fixture in applications where DC power is essential. It allows users to snap two Anton/Bauer Logic Series batteries onto the back of the Hilio, providing a lightweight field lighting kit. As an added benefit, Anton/Bauer’s integrated hot-swap feature provides uninterrupted lighting throughout the production day.

The QRC-LG provides flexibility and added convenience to the Litepanels Sola ENG Flight Kit and Sola 4 and Sola 6 LEDs. Integrated into the design is the Manfrotto mini clamp, which allows the QRC-LG to be mounted to a variety of lighting stands. In addition, three PowerTap outputs on the QRC-LG enable Litepanels Sola ENG Flight Kit, Sola 4, or Sola 6 to be powered from one Logic Series battery, making for a truly portable lighting system.
