The World Rowing Federation FISA has announced the launch of the governing body’s new online home for the rowing ecosystem, Built by deltatre, the portal combines FISA’s long experience in the rowing community and deltatre’s deep understanding of the digital sporting world.

The new FISA website provides rich and intuitive content and acts as an innovative primary touch point to grow the Rowing Federation’s global audience.

A key part of deltatre’s innovative strategy to revamp FISA’s digital media presence is a responsive and easily accessible portal that allows the same deep coverage across multiple devices, maximising FISA’s online capability with a full digital experience.

The new rowing platform, based on Forge, deltatre’s leading proprietary Content Management System, showcases a modern look and feel, an intuitive navigation system with richer page content, aiming to raise the profile of all rowing disciplines and communities, increase fan participation and improve their experience.

In line with deltatre’s focus on an immersive user-experience, the new site includes live coverage of the major World Rowing events on computer or mobile platforms, with exclusive live videos and race trackers, photos, and quotes from the top athletes. deltatre’s LiveBlogging platform will also be used to provide an even more connected browsing experience, engaging users globally through videos and event information. also includes a news and multimedia hub, aggregating content from social channels. Additionally, deltatre’s LiveBlog section on the homepage is said to give a unique sense of live during major events, engaging users through a new athletes section which includes editorial and results data.
