EditShare names CJP Broadcast as channel partner for UK and Ireland

CJP Broadcast, a provider of products and services for the broadcast and wider television industry, has been appointed as EditShare channel partner for the UK and Ireland. The agreement, effectively immediately, covers the full range of EditShare storage, editing and media management products, including on-premises and cloud-virtualised systems.

“EditShare’s approach to video editing and storage is fully in tune with the collaborative style of operation currently favoured across the entire media industry,” said CJP Broadcast founder and managing director Chris Phillips. “The company has a talent for innovation, not least in its Flow media management platform and EFS software-defined storage. EditShare also understands the importance of open APIs which give customers the flexibility to integrate a broad range of production tools to match their current workflow and scale of operation. Our focus with EditShare will be on the sports, digital-film, educational and corporate market sectors where team-based workflow has long been a major requirement.”

“CPJ has an outstanding track record of customer enablement throughout Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic. We are honoured to have them as a business partner,” said Sean Bradley, EditShare’s sales director, Northern Europe. “Their talented team has a deep understanding of the evolving media landscape and how EditShare solutions can best serve customers on their digital transformation journey. It is a winning partnership that will give EditShare customers a local touchpoint that can help move their media business forward.”

Flow is EditShare’s media management platform for creative workflows. It serves as a control layer across storage pools, offering fast-production tools and asset and metadata tracking. EFS is the software-defined storage layer that securely centralises content with features and performance to build small-to-enterprise production environments.
