The company’s stand will feature a selection of cables and connectors for which Belden is renowned, augmented by a choice selection of Miranda solutions designed to substantially improve broadcast processes and services from acquisition through production and playout.

Featuring on the stand will be a selection of Kaleido-Modular multiviewer cards, which enable monitoring systems to be created with a combination of versatile input/output cards that use a powerful a CPU to drive highly advanced features within Miranda’s air-cooled Densité 3 frame. Miranda’s NVISION 8144 router will also be on hand and is part of Miranda’s NVISION 8500 enterprise-class router series, which offer advanced features such as redundant power supplies, control cards and crosspoints in a space-saving 8RU.

“Our cabling and connectivity solutions define the highest levels of interoperability, convenience and efficiency that are the hallmarks of Belden and Miranda products and services,” says David Duarte, Miranda’s new broadcast sales director. “The need for our solutions in this market is vast and growing, which is precisely why we place so much importance on our presence at SET 2013.”
