Sky Sports and BBC confirm Women’s Super League broadcast picks for rounds 11 and 12

The Football Association has confirmed that Sky Sports and the BBC have made their broadcast selections for rounds 11 and 12 of the 2023/24 Barclays Women’s Super League season.

A total of six fixtures have been selected for broadcast over the first two match weekends of 2024.

First up, Chelsea will play host to Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in front of the BBC cameras on Sunday 21 January, kicking off at 12:30pm.

This will be followed by a Sky Sports doubleheader, starting with Manchester City’s home clash against Liverpool at the Joie Stadium (2:30pm KO), before West Ham United welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Chigwell Construction Stadium for the 6.45pm kick-off.

The following weekend sees another two fixtures broadcast on Sky Sports as Brighton host Chelsea at Broadfield Stadium on Saturday 27 January for a 5.30pm kick-off, before Matt Beard’s Liverpool side feature once again the day after, this time at home to Arsenal at Prenton Park, 4.30pm KO.

Finally, Everton’s home clash with Leicester City at Walton Hall Park on Sunday 28 January will be broadcast live on BBC iPlayer with a 12.30pm kick-off.

Remaining Barclays Women’s Super League matches for the same weekends will be streamed on The FA Player. Countries without a broadcast deal will see all matches available on The FA Player.

Additionally, the Barclays Women’s Championship will also see three games selected for broadcast on The FA Player across rounds 12, 13 and 14.

Sheffield United’s home game at Bramall Lane against Charlton Athletic will be shown on Sunday 17 December with a 2pm kick-off, alongside Reading’s clash with Birmingham City at the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Sunday 21 January, KO 1pm.

The latest picks will be rounded off with Blackburn Rovers’ match against Sunderland at the Lancashire FA County Ground on Sunday 28 January, KO 2pm.
