Sunset + Vine retains Gymnastics World Cup host broadcast deal

British Gymnastics has re-appointed London’s Sunset + Vine as the host broadcaster for the the 2018 Gymnastics World Cup. 

Under the terms of the agreement, Sunset+Vine will produce the World Feed for international broadcasters for the event which takes place at the Arena Birmingham on the 21 and 22 March 2018. 

The Sunset+Vine World Feed will be directed by Kate McKeag, whose previous gymnastics directing experience includes the 2016 Gymnastics World Cup, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the British Championship.

Nigel Hill, Commercial Director of British Gymnastics; said the deal forms part of a “strategy to deliver high-quality and high-profile coverage of gymnastics events to showcase our sport as well as reach and grow our fan base.’’

Last week, British Gymnastics announced a three-year deal with BBC Sport that includes the exclusive broadcast of the Gymnastics World Cup live via the BBC app, website and Red Button. A highlights programme will air on BBC1 on Saturday 24 March.

Jeff Foulser, the Chairman of Sunset+Vine, added: “This contract provides an opportunity to showcase our credentials for a sport that we’ve built expertise around through our Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and recent British Championships experience.”
