Vision Mixers Show heads to BT Sport in May

Visionmixers.tv have announced details of their fifth Vision Mixers Show on 19 May at BT Sport Studios at Olympic Park, Stratford, in East London. The show brings together all the main vision mixing manufacturers (Sony, Snell, Ross, Grass Valley plus EVS-owned DYVI – IP Vision Mixer) each showing their latest high definition broadcast (some also with 4K) vision mixing desks in one room.

The event will be free* to attend for vision mixers, engineers, facility managers and other broadcast professionals (*a returnable £5 registration fee). The show is set to run for one day only.

The concept is very simple: the people who operate and engineer vision mixing desks in studios and outside broadcast facilities (many of whom are freelance) come together to meet the mixer specialists with a view to gaining more knowledge about the desks. Since most broadcast professionals are freelance, training and information on the latest mixer software updates don’t always filter down to the end-user.

Equipment to see: Sony MVS 7000 X – new panel; Snell Maverick  – new panel; Ross new Carbonite Black and new Acuity; Grass Valley Kayanne K-Frame; and new DYVI (EVS-backed) IP-based vision mixer.

Who is it aimed at? Anyone who operates or has an interest in the latest vision mixing desks.

The show is run by the Vision Mixers Guild, which is a non-profit making organisation.
