Fox Sports in Singapore this week posted a listing for a News Production Internship 2013 at globalsportsjobs.com, The qualified candidate will gain experience in every level of TV news production, from writing and digital desk top editing to graphics management and control room assistance. They will also work with news editors, broadcast journalists, and other news assistants in the production of Sports Central, Fox Sports News and other News products. A typical day will involve close coordination with a team to ensure bulletins are ready for air. Requirements are students at least mid-way through their degree program in journalism, mass comm., sports management, video production or some related field and a strong passion for and knowledge of sports, including but not limited to European Football, F1, tennis, motorsports and American sports. Experience in broadcast technology (including Final Cut Pro) and a fluency in English with a second Asian language desirable are also helpful.
