M2A Media and Mediability partner to offer live and VoD OTT services to Nordic region

M2A Media, provider of cloud video solutions, and Mediability, one of the Nordics largest professional equipment providers and systems integrators, have today announced a partnership to offer fully cloud-based live streaming, live capture and disaster recovery services to premium sports and entertainment content rights holders in the Nordics.

The partnership will bring together M2A’s cloud-video expertise and Mediability’s strong broadcaster relationships and understanding of the region. M2A Media specialises in the live video delivery of the world’s most valuable sports and entertainment events. Its cloud-native Live Streaming technology and operations service is trusted by the likes of DAZN, BBC and ITV.

M2A Media’s Live Capture service, meanwhile, uses the power and scalability of the cloud to create high quality, frame accurately trimmed, digital assets from live SD, HD and 4K content, allowing viewers access to VoD content via a full range of devices minutes after broadcast. This speed allows broadcasters to monetise those assets when they are most in demand.
