Scoop! Aeta Audio joins SVG Europe as a Bronze sponsor

Aeta Audio Systems, which designs and develops a full range of audio and IP codecs, has joined SVG Europe as a Bronze sponsor.

The company is best known for its Scoop range of products, including the ScoopTeam commentary codec for commentary booth, OB trucks and remote working. Aeta recently added 5G capability to ScoopTeam, which is able to connect to both 4G and 5G networks simultaneously, as well as offer bonding and double streaming options, if necessary.

A more recent addition to the family is the modular ScoopyFlex, which is designed to meet broadcasters’ present and future needs by offering flexibility and advanced functionalities, such as 5G capability, embedded Bluetooth and WiFi, as well as two mobile network connections. The portable codec comes with a docking station to let users quickly and easily turn the device into a full-fledged commentary unit.

Earlier this year, Aeta delivered a combination of commentary codecs to the African Nations Championship and 2021 Africa Cup of Nations football tournaments. In total, Aeta provided 144 ScoopTeam units, which were used in five locations throughout Cameroon during both occasions.
