SVG Europe publishes full programme for SportTech 2016

Covering topics ranging from live event graphics best practice to virtual graphics in sports, the programme for the 2016 edition of SportTech addresses a number of notable developments set to affect sports production over the next few years. The event will constitute SVG Europe’s first conference in Ireland and will take place at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on 18 May.

It will also be the association’s first themed summit, zeroing in on graphics production for sports. Our Graphics in Focus sessions will cover realtime graphics applications for studio and remote production, augmented reality presentation, live virtual graphics and all-important social media integration.

But graphics isn’t the only area of attention as SportTech 2016 will also tackle the vexed question of format standardisation as we transition from SDI to IP-based broadcast production; provide an insight into hype versus reality regarding sporting virtual reality applications; and deliver an opportunity to learn about planning, challenges and threats to the outside broadcast community as we approach the big summer of sports 2016.

Registration to attend the Football Production Summit is open to SVG Europe Members and SVG Europe Sponsors only. Registration is complimentary for professionals working in broadcast television sports production.
