SVGE Sport Facility Integration Summit: find out the essentials of venue integration at half-day conference on February 12

SVGE_SFI_slider-01The core issues surrounding venue integration projects and the different stakeholder groups involved in them will provide the backdrop for a busy three-hour programme at the 2015 SVG Europe Sport Facility Integration Summit. Taking place on the morning of February 12 at ISE in Amsterdam, the summit was co-devised by SVG Europe and leading audio consultant Roland Hemming.

After delivering an opening message touching on broadcast personnel’s interaction with systems integrators, consultants and venue managers, Hemming will offer an initial presentation on the primary stages involved in creating a working sporting venue, drawing on specific examples such as Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium and Lord’s Cricket Ground.

In a panel session to be moderated by SVG associate editor Karen Hogan, Venue Strategies’ design director, Sam Wise, and AVI-SPL senior VP international sales special projects group George Douglas will discuss the role of the stadium consultant.

Joining Channel Media Europe editor-in-chief for a session on the convergence between AV, IT and the new networked world will be Cisco manager business development Paul Depperschmidt and ALC NetworX senior product manager Andreas Hildebrand, while RG Jones’ Jon Berry, Sales-All director Marc Kocks and RH Consulting principal Richard Northwood will join SVG Europe managing editor David Davies to discuss their involvement as integrators in landmark facility projects.

Closing out the programme will be a keynote session on the future of the sports venue by Dimitri Huygen, who in addition to heading the European Stadium and Safety Management Association (ESSMA) is now involved with running the EURO2020 stadium bid in Belgium.
