Timeline provides OB and RF for Lagardère Sports’ Super League Triathlon

Super League Triathlon comprised two days of action, during which fifty of the world’s best athletes raced across two unique super-sprint race formats: Triple Mix and Eliminator. The event took place in Jersey in late September and offered an equal prize of $130,000 for the men and women triathletes.

Timeline TV provided all of the outside-broadcast and RF services for three separate live feeds (World, Linear and Internet Streamed), as produced by Lagardère Sports, a leading sports and entertainment agency.

Timeline’s outside-broadcast truck, OB16, was on site producing the live feeds with 14 cameras, 24 channels of EVS, Calrec Artemis mixing desk and integrated 2+1 uplink.

Timeline’s Replay 1 provided multiple on-site edit facilities, based around a shared storage/access network (which included the OB16-based EVS facilities).

Utilising one of its flyaway RF systems, Timeline also provided a live helicopter-mounted camera, two motorcycle-based handheld cameras working along the whole course on a terrestrially-received network, two standard radio cameras and a boat-mounted Polecam system.

Aided by Gb internet connectivity from Jersey Telecom, Timeline also carried out live streaming and post-event upload services direct from site to multiple internet broadcasters, including the feeds for Super League Triathlon and You Tube.
