TrillerTV acquires UK and Ireland Eredivisie rights

TrillerTV has acquired exclusive broadcast rights to the Dutch football league Eredivisie in the UK & Ireland for the next two years.

As part of the TrillerTV+ subscription throughout the 2023/24 season, 52 matches will be streamed live. The broadcast deal, facilitated by IMG, will also expand to include France and Australia for the 2024/25 season, with the streaming of 136 live matches.

“This strategic acquisition further underscores our commitment to delivering diverse and premium sports content to our global audience.”

TrillerTV’s coverage begins today (16 February),  featuring English commentary and a “comprehensive” highlight show.

Eredivisie joins recent TrillerTV+ football additions – Liga Portugal Betclic, AFC Champions League, and the AFC Asian Cup. TrillerTV’s expansion into football builds on its history presenting the combat sports, including boxing, MMA, and wrestling.

IMG has represented the Eredivisie’s global media rights in all international regions, excluding the Netherlands, for the past 20 years. IMG Arena also manages the media rights to third parties including online platforms.
