UEFA Europa League Final 2024: Broadcast facts and figures for Atalanta BC vs Bayer 04 Leverkusen

Some 30 cameras will be used to capture the action at tonight’s (22 May) UEFA Europa League Final between Atalanta BC and Bayer 04 Leverkusen at the Dublin Arena in Ireland.

The camera plan for the final includes an aerial camera system, a drone, seven super-slow motion and two hi-speed cameras, two in-goal cameras, two pole-cams and two crane cameras.

UEFA has appointed Saran Media as the host broadcaster, with Mediapro recruited as technical services provider. Overseeing the multilateral match feed will be director Gustavo Fonseca.

The Final will be produced in UHD-HDR 1080p50 HLG (NBC LUT package). In terms of audio, Dolby surround sound will be available on the HD feed, while Dolby Atmos Immersive audio will also be available on the UHD feed.

Unilateral broadcast facilities allocated by UEFA include 76 TV, radio and social media commentary desks, four tribune presentation positions, 19 pitch presentation positions, ten flash interview positions and five super flash positions.

In addition, there will be 23 unilateral camera positions behind the goal and six social media cameras on the reverse side. There will also be seven unilateral broadcast partner offices.

There will be some 5,400 m2 of broadcast compound space, and over 53km of fibre optical pulled by UEFA to deliver services to broadcast partners.
