BVE 2017: NewTek demonstrates Live Production Video Tools
At BVE 2017, NewTek showcases its advanced NewTek IP Series software-driven, modular video production system. Plus, for the first time in the UK, NewTek shows MediaDS, the real-time media encoding and live streaming video delivery system. TriCasterâ 460 with TalkShowâ VS 4000, and TriCaster Mini with MediaDS are also on show at NewTek’s stand at BVE 2017 on 28th February to 2nd March at ExCeL London.
Launched at IBC 2016, the NewTek IP Series merges power, efficiency and flexibility of IP with software-driven live production approach to define a new workflow. The IP Series acts as a single, modular video production system with virtually limitless access to video sources and video mixing options. Connecting, communicating, and sharing video and audio across the network means all inputs, outputs and media assets are readily available and accessible.
Designed to work effectively in an ecosystem, the NewTek IP Series is one of the first large production systems designed for IP video while also fully backwards compatible with SDI. Video, audio and control signals are transferred digitally using NewTek NDI™ and the result is a fully customisable IP workflow solution with the flexibility to handle the most demanding production needs.
In addition to the IP Series, NewTek will also show the MediaDS, its new real-time media encoding and live streaming video delivery system, at BVE 2017 for the first time in the UK. Developed in partnership with Wowza, MediaDS is an industry first end-to-end streaming solution that allows any production, presentation, or live event to be delivered to any device with browser capability, regardless of location.
