Eleven Sports extends F1 deal in Poland

Eleven Sports has extended its rights agreement with Formula 1 in Poland to the end of the 2022 season, a deal that also includes the rights to show Formula 2 and Formula 3 and the Porsche Supercup Series.

The extended deal will allow Eleven Sports to show every F1 race weekend exclusively live throughout the 2020, 2021 and 2022 seasons. This is in addition to the current 2019 season which started in Australia last weekend.

Eleven has been showing F1 races since 2016. It offers live coverage of all races, practice and qualifying sessions.

Alongside the renewed partnership, Eleven will sub-license highlights to the Polish broadcaster Polsat and provide abridged live race programmes to Poland’s TVP starting with the 2019 season.

The agreement also includes the broadcasting rights to FIA Formula 2 and FIA Formula 3 Championship and the Porsche Supercup Series, which commences in 2019 and concludes in 2022, and will be available on Polsat’s Sports Channels.

Michaella Snoeck, the senior manager of media rights at Formula 1, said: “Eleven Sports will broadcast a comprehensive offering made up of their high-quality on-site production and international feed coverage across their channels, which will be further enhanced by their sub-licensing partnership with both Polsat and Telewizja Polska SA, providing expanded free-to-air coverage to further support the growth of Formula 1 in Poland.”
