M2A Media achieves AWS Media & Entertainment Competency Status

M2A Media has achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Media & Entertainment Competency. This verifies that M2A’s media and entertainment solutions follow architectural and operational best practices, they are being actively used by customers in production environments, and customers advocate for the solution.

AWS Media & Entertainment Competency Partners provide a low-friction way for customers to recognise optimisation from a cloud-operational solution. In making cloud-migration decisions, customers are asking for holistic and prescriptive guidance from M2A Media as they look to transition their live video workflows to the cloud.

Broadcasters and sports rights owners use M2A Connect, M2A Live and M2A Capture to automate and orchestrate AWS Elemental Media Services for their live video transport and direct-to-consumer live streaming workflows, speeding up time to market for valuable events and optimising resources.

The AWS Media & Entertainment Competency designation is the way to differentiate AWS Partners that have engineered their solutions and demonstrated the ability to deploy and operationalise these solutions repeatedly, at scale. Finally, and most importantly, they have a list of customers that have successfully deployed the solution on AWS.

Matt Hughes, chief commercial officer, M2A Media, said: “We’re delighted to have taken this further step in our partnership with AWS. The AWS Media and Entertainment Competency provides M2A the opportunity to further differentiate our offering and gives customers the reassurance in M2A as the go-to partner for AWS Media Services orchestration and automation.”
