Net Insight signs framework agreement with Teracom for time synchronisation of critical mobile network

Net Insight has entered into a strategically important frame agreement with Teracom for the delivery of its time synchronisation solution Zyntai. The frame agreement primarily concerns the time synchronisation of Teracom’s network for critical services. The value of the agreement for the project, for deployment during 2023 and 2024, is over SEK 10 million.

Teracom Group is a state-owned corporation that provides secure communication services to Sweden’s vital societal actors. Teracom’s mobile network, focusing on critical services, requires a robust and secure time synchronisation solution that is independent of GPS/GNSS. After a thorough evaluation process, Teracom has chosen Net Insight as its supplier.

The solution, based on Net Insight’s new cost-effective synchronisation platform Zyntai, meets the high performance and security requirements that Teracom places on the time synchronisation of its critical mobile network. The agreement represents an important strategic step forward for Net Insight in its expansion of time synchronisation for critical networks. The first phase is planned to be delivered during 2023, with the majority in the first half of 2024.

“We need a GPS/GNSS-independent solution that is robust and easy to implement over our existing infrastructure, which Zyntai can provide,” said Gunnar Bergman, head of networks at Teracom.

“We are very proud to offer Teracom an alternative solution to GPS that meets their high requirements and expectations,” said Crister Fritzson, CEO of Net Insight. “Zyntai offers a secure, flexible and cost-effective path to time synchronisation for critical networks. This agreement is evidence of the quality and innovation that Net Insight constantly strives for.”
