Ransome joins Ross Video as UK regional sales manager

Ross Video has announced that James Ransome has joined the EMEA sales team, taking the role of regional sales manager for the UK. Ransome started his career in broadcast working at Presteigne Broadcast Hire before taking on sales roles outside the industry.

In 2015 Ransome returned to broadcast to work in a sales account manager position with WTS before then joining Canon to cover key broadcast and professional accounts. Ransome not working, James is a keen martial artist and, by his own admission, a borderline competent snowboarder!

Commenting on the appointment, Oscar Juste, Ross Video’s director of sales for EMEA, pointed to the company’s expansion in the region. “Ross EMEA grew by an incredible 27% in 2018 and we’ve increased our regional turnover by over 70% in the last two years. These results – rooted in great products and a meticulous focus on customer service – have helped us expand our footprint in EMEA and add additional resource where we are growing fastest. I’m delighted James has joined Ross and I know his enthusiasm and professionalism will be great assets to the company”.
