BroaMan to sponsor Next Generation Audio session at SVG Europe’s Football Production Summit

SVG Europe is delighted to announce that optical digital fiber-based network technology specialist BroaMan will sponsor and introduce the audio session at SVG Europe’s Football Production Summit. The event will take place at the Allianz Arena, Munich, on 22 March.

The session entitled ‘Making the Beautiful Game Sound Even Better’ will examine Next Generation Audio (NGA) technologies, such as immersive and object-oriented audio, which have recently been the subject of several significant sports-related trials. As a primary driver behind many technological advances, football is expected to become one of the major beneficiaries of NGA, both in the form of enhanced surround mixes and – at the consumer end – opportunities for interactivity.

Speakers including Dr Rob Oldfield (Acoustics Research Consultant, University of Salford) and Felix Krückels (Director Business Development, Lawo) will join SVG Europe Editor David Davies to discuss the various ways in which broadcasters are aiming to make the beautiful game sound even better.
