Focusrite joins SVG Europe as new Gold Sponsor

Focusrite, which started life in the 1980s making recording consoles, has joined SVG Europe as a Gold Sponsor.

The British audio manufacturer has remained dedicated to audio quality, while pushing the envelope of technical innovation.

Will Hoult, head of product at Focusrite, commented: “Focusrite Pro has been supporting audio-over-IP workflows for broadcast and eSports organisations for several years. As the transition from SDI to IP accelerates through the adoption of SMPTE 2110, joining Sports Video Group (SVG) Europe will be a huge benefit in allowing us to better understand the requirements and real world challenges facing such a prestigious group of working professionals.”

Its RedNet range of audio-over-IP interfaces, launched in 2013, defined Focusrite as a pioneer in the Dante interface field. Today, supported by a diverse and growing product portfolio, the Focusrite Pro sales and marketing division caters directly to the professional client, offering personalised communication and close collaboration across various markets.

Focusrite’s RedNet professional audio solutions are used widely in sports broadcast applications, thanks to the reliability, scalability and ease of use of its interfaces. Clients include major sports networks and flagship events such as the Super Bowl and US Open Tennis.
