Forscene wins two Mobile Awards for media management innovation
Professional video editing software Forscene was awarded two wins at The Drum Marketing on Mobile Awards ceremony at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square on May 18. Forscene won in the categories of Best B2B Sector Mobile Strategy and Best Mobile/Tablet app, for work carried out on the media management interface by mobile agency Nimbletank.
The Forscene media management interface was released in 2015 and provides site and account managers with full media access control and the ability to search and review material, move media around the world, control ingest servers, and configure Forscene accounts from a desktop or mobile application over a standard internet connection.
Nimbletank was responsible for designing a user interface for the media manager and ingest server that pushed the brand creatively and complemented the concurrent redesign of the editing platform.
“The level of functionality that Forscene’s media manager provides is not routinely available on mobile platforms,” said Chris Minas, CEO and founder of Nimbletank. “We’re thrilled that Drum and the MOMA judges have recognised and acknowledged the work involved in delivering this transformational enterprise product.”
Now in their fourth year, the Awards focus on how mobile is the centre of how we interact and communicate with each other, and celebrate the brands and agencies that deliver campaigns and strategies at the forefront of this industry.
“Mobile applications and IP technology are fast becoming an integral part of professional video production,” said Jason Cowan, business development director for Forscene. “But the most powerful tools can be rendered useless without user-friendly design. Nimbletank and our development team have earned these awards by designing and implementing a solution that is intuitive and attractive, giving Forscene users access to the power of the platform wherever they are.”
