Job of the Week: Director Strategic Marketing, Sportradar

This week’s position is a full-time role based in Munich, Germany, or St. Gallen, Switzerland, as director strategic marketing at Sportradar.

Sportradar is a global leader in understanding and leveraging the power of sports data and digital content for its clients around the world. It provides cutting-edge solutions and services to media companies, bookmakers, sports federations and state authorities.

Reporting to the managing director and working closely with the director marketing Operations, the director strategic marketing will be responsible for developing strategies to ensure Sportradar is best-positioned in an increasingly competitive market place. This role will involve defining and shaping marketing strategies both internally and externally.

Key responsibilities will include: developing an aligned strategy, roadmap and content for external positioning of Sportradar across multiple channels and target markets (customer, media, IR, industry events, marketing campaign); designing, leading and implementing a marketing business model that aligns with Sportradar’s strategic initiatives and that is measurable; gathering competitive and industry marketing intelligence, and disseminating trends and learnings throughout organisation; accountability for building, deploying and measuring tactical communications that drive actions and revenue growth; overseeing the delivery of Sportradar’s communications/public relations messages and strategy; and defining and developing a distinctive and engaging brand positioning and identity which builds affinity with the Sportradar brand and encourages existing and potential third parties to interact with, investigate, and come back to the brand.
