The Sports PR team aims to make more people fans of Sky through sport. It works with colleagues across Sky to ensure key stakeholders see that Sky has the best programming, best products and best delivery, and that it is a force for good in sport. The team is based in Sky Sports and surrounded by the production teams, talent and deal-makers who make Sky Sports the UK & Ireland’s best sports broadcaster.

There is now an opportunity for a senior PR manager to join the team on a nine-month fixed term contract. In this role they will work with the head of PR, providing strategic direction for the team and managerial support. They will be responsible for implementing strategy, creating and driving through priority campaigns and working on issues management. They will devise and implement the broad overview PR strategy with the head of PR, and help to ensure the Sky Sports brand is well-regarded by key business stakeholders. Frequent senior management liaison will be an important part of the role, as will building and enhancing external relationships across media, governing bodies, opinion formers, rights’ holders and more.
