Luna opts for Bronze SVG Europe sponsorship

Luna Remote Systems has renewed its Bronze sponsorship of SVG Europe.

The company, which specialises in providing professional, high-quality remote camera systems as well as offering remote system services​ including cable cam, towercam​ and Jimmy Jib​ hire, enjoyed a successful 2023, which included a few firsts.

This included the company making its Wimbledon debut with its long distance High Speed Falcon 1D System called into action to provide beauty shots for the world-famous tennis event. The same system was also used in Saudi Arabia for the Saudi Cup Horse Racing festival to cover the sprint races.

Luna also extended its relationship with World Athletics, supplying four wirecams for the World Athletics Championships in Budapest. The High Speed Falcon system was again in use, this time covering a 1 kilometre run in the centre of the city, to bring the beauty of Budapest and the action of the marathons and race walks to viewers. In addition, the National Athletics Centre hosted two Dactylcam point-to-point wirecam systems, along with a Falcon four-point system, set up as a 2D over the back straight.
