Sponix Tech unveils Offside Camera Remote Virtual Advertising solution
Sponix Tech has leveraged its SPboard virtual advertisement technology to accomplish what it considers to be a significant milestone in the history of football broadcasting. Utilising only the PGM feed as the system’s input, the company has successfully replaced billboards and 3D carpets not only on the main camera but also on the offside cameras at four recent international matches.
This accomplishment was achieved without any hardware on-site, physical billboards, or staff in the stadium. Furthermore, even without access to ISO camera feeds, Sponix Tech produced a new feed specifically tailored for Africa.

Sponix Tech successfully implemented its SPboard Offside Camera Virtual Advertising during four international matches held between 16 and 20 June 2023. In four days, SPboard executed virtual advertising campaigns across diverse continents, including: Iraq vs Colombia on 16 June; Brazil vs Guinea on 17 June; Germany vs Colombia on 20 June; and Bolivia vs Chile on 20 June.
