TVU Networks renews Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe
TVU Networks has returned as a Gold sponsor of SVG Europe.
Jean-Christophe Albou, the company’s sales director for Europe, said: “SVG Europe is indispensable for the European broadcast industry, fostering an exceptional network within the sports community.”
The company added: “TVU Networks is eager to continue our engagement with SVG Europe as a Gold sponsor, a premier platform to share and expand our advancements in sustainable and cost-efficient live broadcast production for sports. Our commitment goes beyond providing comprehensive cloud-native remote production and playout solutions; we are dedicated to ensuring unwavering reliability over any network (IP, cellular, Starlink…) and embracing the challenges of modern sports production.
“SVG Europe’s events are crucial for us to learn from new customer challenges, and collaborate together on innovative solutions such as TVU Replay and TVU Review, superb alternatives for fan engagement and VAR in the cloud.
“Our REMI and cloud solutions are at the forefront of broadcast-quality production, offering unique features like live remote commentary, AI-based live clipping and highlights, and the industry’s only end-to-end 4K cloud workflow. These innovations are central to our commitment to refining production processes, enhancing sustainability, and elevating the user experience.”
TVU Networks has had a number of project highlights in 2023, including working with MediaLuso to deliver live remote coverage of the 2023 Pan American Games, and joining forces with the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships for a groundbreaking live broadcast. Spanning five days, the competition showcased top-tier trail and mountain runners from over 60 nations, reaching audiences across TV, web, and mobile platforms. TVU also collaborated with the German Football League and Viaplay on the first-ever 5G live transmission at the 2023 Supercup.
