Busy times ahead for Vidi with Winter Olympics and Arab Cup on the agenda

Vidi is gearing up for a busy few months, with its services utilised at the Arab Cup, which starts in Doha on 30 November, and at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

In addition to providing metro connections in Europe, Vidi is also providing exhibition equipment and qualified engineering services directly on site for the Arab Cup qualifiers, which are currently taking place.

During the event, Vidi will provide metro connectivity in Europe for Ooredoo. This includes 2x 10G from London to Frankfurt, and 1x 10G from Frankfurt Equinix FR5 to Frankfurt Interxion.

As part of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, Vidi is providing 2x 10G connectivity as a disjoint and geo-redundant link between the POP Hong Kong, Tseung Kwan O Global Center and a TV broadcasting centre in Vienna. The service is provided for an Austrian broadcaster.
