Pixotope releases version 23.2 of its virtual production software

Pixotope has released the latest version of its virtual production software, which includes several improvements designed to make workflows more efficient.

The Pixotope Engine/Editor now runs on the latest Unreal Engine version 5.2.0 giving users access to new features such as; Procedural Content Generation Framework (PCG), Substrate, Nanite, Lumen, Enhanced Shadow Rendering, Shader compilation and more.

For a better overview of all world settings, Pixotope has introduced World Settings, enabling user to focus on their production type, be it AR, VS or XR and get a clean overview of all available settings.

XR set up has also been simplified by adding outside camera view modes, which are available both in Editor as well as in Director. In addition, two ways to save presets for the video keyer have been added: Quick presets offer nine slots to quickly save and toggle between them; while Named presets allow users to label them for better recognition when used later.
