FPS 2017 slider RGB 480x320pxVisiting Munich for the first time, the Football Production Summit – which takes place at the German city’s Allianz Arena on 22 March – will again provide broadcasters, OB providers, federations, leagues and clubs with an opportunity to find out more about the production technologies and workflow developments set to impact upon this most dynamic of sports.

In a far-reaching programme, the summit will feature sessions examining: the network and content innovations that have transformed the Allianz Arena; IMG’s development of the Premier League Archive to be a truly global portal; the collaboration between football leagues and rights holders, and how it is optimised to deliver the best possible viewing experience; French broadcaster Canal+’s adoption of cost-efficient production technologies; the emergence of immersive audio and personalised audio techniques, and their potential in football coverage; and the adoption of IP remote production in the Proximus League.

Canal+ director of sports production Francois-Charles Bideaux, IMG vice-president sports video archive Tom Barnes, and Imagen CEO Tom Blake are among the confirmed speakers – with more to be announced very shortly.

As with all major SVGE summit events, there will be a full tour of the venue, lunch and extensive networking opportunities.
